While many names have come and gone in the comedy genre of music, one name stands out above them all. Weird Al came on the scene in the 1980s and is still producing parodies in music and video. He has directed video productions, television episodes, and starred in his self-created movie, UHF. Amish Paradise Controversy/Rejected Songs

There’s also an overview of the controversy, after its release, when Coolio stated he’d never given Weird Al permission to parody his song Gangsta Paradise. Al gave Coolio half the royalty proceeds and, amazingly, Coolio hasn’t been heard from since.
