Woody Allen is a well-known filmmaker and director. His works are often
comedic, and he is known for producing a large amount of films or screenplays in

famous American directors of all time. Biography Woody Allen
was born in 1935 in New York City. His grandparents were Jewish immigrants who
came to America from Germany. As a student, Allen enjoyed entertaining his
classmates with magic tricks and comedic performances. As he got older, he
landed a job writing anecdotes for a man who sold them to various newspapers. It
was clear from the very beginning that he had a talent for writing and for
making people laugh. By the age of 19, he was already writing for such famous
programs as The Ed Sullivan Show and Candid Camera. In 1965,
actor Warren Beatty hired Allen to write a script for one of his films. Since
that time, he has produced, directed, and written scores of famous movies.
Filmography Woody Allen’s first movie was What’s
New, Pussycat? and was released in 1965. He produced the film, and famous
actor Peter O’Toole starred. Throughout the next two decades, Allen made several
well-known films such as Banana, Sleeper, Manhattan, Annie Hall, and
many others. Annie Hall was a big success, and actress Dianne Keaton
won a best actress award. Many of his films were comedic in nature, but the
movie Interiors took on a more serious tone. In the 1980s, Allen
continued to write and direct several films including Stardust Memories,
Crimes and Misdemeanors, and Radio Days. By this time, he had
established himself as a prominent figure in the movie industry. Throughout the
1990s and up to the present, Woody Allen continues to make many films, all of
which invoke feelings of happiness, love, contemplation, and fun.
